Dear friends of Stewardship Asia Centre (SAC),

A warm greeting to you. My name's Luke from the Digital Platform and Communications team, and I am really happy to share what has been happening in SAC. Personally, it has been a hectic but productive year, as SAC embarked on several new projects, in which I am proud to have been involved on the communications and media production front.

With the gradual reopening of borders and more relaxed COVID-19 measures, we are seeing an increase in in-person engagements. The pandemic has not only transformed the way we live, work and play, but it has also led to increased expectations on businesses to be better steward leaders.

At SAC, we continue to encourage companies to make a positive difference. On top of the Stewardship Asia Roundtable and Stewardship Commons, we started new initiatives and partnerships to reach out to a broader audience. One significant project is Steward Leadership 25 (SL25), which we launched in March in partnership with INSEAD Hoffmann Global Institute for Business and Society, WTW (Willis Towers Watson) and The Straits Times. You can read more about it below.

If you have any feedback, comments or ideas about any aspect of our work, please feel free to email us.

Sincerely,
Luke Phang
Manager (Digital Platform and Communications)

Steward Leadership 25
Steward Leadership 25 is an annual listing of the best narratives from 25 companies that have shown excellence in steward leadership. Since its launch in March, we have produced a series of videos to build awareness and encourage submissions, which are due on 30 June. We interviewed our partners and some of SL25's judges. Winners will be announced at the Steward Leadership Summit on 30 November.

People's Association (PA)
The Project We Care CEOs and Business Leaders Network is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative led by the private sector and the People’s Association (PA) to encourage corporate giving and volunteerism in Singapore, engaging CEOs and business leaders to rally their employees to contribute towards meaningful causes in the community.
Project We Care helps companies meet their sustainability and corporate social responsibility objectives. With our community lenses and wide network, Project We Care serves as a one-stop facilitator in identifying needs, matching resources, and engaging employees meaningfully. There are three ways in which companies and business leaders can contribute:
TIME: Volunteer for a cause that resonates with your CSR focus areas. Support disadvantaged families through Adopt-A-Family on their unmet social needs to improve their overall well-being.
TALENT: Harness your industry expertise to upskill communities in need. Co-curate a workshop through ENRICH Lab to impart useful skills to empower communities-in-need.
TREASURE: Pledge in-kind or cash donations to support community initiatives. Contribute cash or in-kind sponsorships through Stay Well, help families refurbish their homes and enable them to live in a dignified and conducive environment.
To join the Project We Care community and begin making a difference, contact PA at go.gov.sg/connectwithprojectwecare or PA_partnership@pa.gov.sg.
