Stewardship Asia Roundtable 2018 Insights

On 4 June 2018, the Stewardship Asia Roundtable brought together 210 participants from 138 organisations across 20 countries to exchange perspectives on stewardship. Held in conjunction with the Temasek cluster of sustainability and stewardship events, the three-hour forum saw engaging exchanges amongst business leaders, policymakers, regulators, investors and academics.

Steward Leadership: Perspectives from Vietnam

The concept of stewardship has been present in many Asian cultures for a long time, but is difficult to discuss as no direct definition exists in most Asian languages. In Vietnamese business culture, the analogue for good stewardship is good leadership, and business leaders are considered extremely important in guiding an organisation’s direction.
