The Stewardship Asia Conversation is a platform for dialogues on issues and topics related to stewardship and governance, including hot-button issues and trends pertinent to businesses and corporations. Each Stewardship Asia Conversation is a closed-door focus-group discussion session attended by 10 to 12 corporate leaders, and we aim to share ideas and engender mutual learning for all who attend.

Stewardship Principles for Family Businesses: Kuala Lumpur
We visited Kuala Lumpur in 2019 to discuss Stewardship Principles for Family Businesses with some of the most recognizable Malaysian family businesses including OSK Holdings, Royal Selangor, and 余仁生 Eu Yan Sang. The lively exchange and open discussion co-hosted by Tan Sri Dr Michael Yeoh, President of Kingsley Strategic Institute, and Ong Boon Hwee, CEO of Stewardship Asia Centre, provided leadership perspectives on responsible ownership and the potential challenges in building a stewardship culture in the face of complex systemic demands.
The Singapore Stewardship Principles for Responsible Investors Networking Series continues to talk about responsible investing and promoting good stewardship within the investment community. Mr Garry Hawker, Director of Strategic Research, Growth Markets, Mercer, was the guest speaker and shared on Investor Stewardship and the global drivers and trends.
